Paul Douglas Van Der Walde, Founding Partner
A previous
resident of Boston, Massachusetts and Scottsdale, Arizona, Paul settled
in Santa Clara County to attend Santa Clara University in 1990 for law studies.
After receiving his Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1993 he worked for a as
defense attorney for an area insurance defense organization. Over the next
year Paul watched in frustration as insurance companies took advantage of
plaintiffs and began a career with a Bay Area civil litigation firm and
concentrated on helping plaintiffs in personal injury litigation. In 1995
he entered a partnership and formed Cornell & Van Der Walde Law followed
in 1997 with the establishment of Van Der Walde & Associates.
For ten years, Paul has been a constant in Santa Clara court rooms, recognized by judges, lawyers and other legal professionals and the like. Though many lawyers pursue class action suits and enormous settlements, Paul prefers helping real people win their accident cases whether large or small.
An active member of the Santa Clara County area, Paul shows his support of the community as a member of the San Jose Chamber of Commerce as well as an affiliation with the Silicon Valley Better Business Bureau.
